The web game uses an anonymous browser cookie to connect you to scores, streaks and badges stored on our server. We store submitted tap sequences for validation while processing a run, and save results, dates, game duration and competition participation. Your generated player name and score are visible to people with your competition link. Settings such as sound are saved on your device. Clearing the cookie loses access to your anonymous progress; it does not delete server records.
The mobile app uses an anonymous session for online scores, badges, streaks and free competitions. No sign-in is required. Progress does not currently sync across devices, and uninstalling the app or clearing its data may lose access to that session. Your best score and sound, effects and haptic preferences are also saved on the device. Offline play remains available, but offline runs cannot count toward online badges or competitions. Clearing local data does not delete server records.
When you start a run, we also save a predefined promotion label from the game link (for example, an Instagram Reel), whether it is a challenge or competition, whether the link is marked for testing, the input used to start the run (touch, mouse, pen or keyboard), and a broad screen-width group. We do not store exact screen dimensions or infer your device model. We use this with the same anonymous game profile to count completed games and return visits. We do not save the full referring page, arbitrary link parameters or a separate advertising identifier for this measurement. Untagged visits are recorded as direct or unknown; these labels do not prove where a person came from.
The current web game does not load advertising or marketing trackers. The iOS release includes Google AdMob advertising: a banner below the gameplay area during eligible runs and occasional full-screen ads between runs. Ads never cover the playable board during a run. Ad availability depends on consent eligibility, network availability and Google’s app review. Development builds use test ads, which do not earn revenue. Where advertising is enabled, Google may process device identifiers, IP address and approximate location derived from it, app interactions, advertising data and diagnostic information to deliver and measure ads. When required by the Google consent service, a privacy message is shown before ad requests and an Ad privacy control is made available in Settings. The app requests non-personalized ads. These requests can still involve device and connection data. Nine Rush currently does not request permission to use Apple’s advertising identifier for tracking across other companies’ apps and websites.
Changing the in-game Sound setting also informs the mobile ad SDK that the app is muted or unmuted. Individual ad creatives may have their own sound controls.
Real-money checkout is not enabled. A sandbox checkout is being prepared for testing. When checkout is enabled, PayPal processes payment details; our server verifies the purchase and saves its order and capture identifiers, amount, status, date and anonymous game profile. We store a hash of your private recovery code so you can restore access, not the code itself. Short-lived attempt counters use a keyed hash of the network address to limit abuse. Payment details and card numbers are not stored by Nine Rush.
Our hosting provider processes requests and technical connection information to deliver and protect the service. Game records remain on our server until removed; there is currently no automatic deletion schedule.
For support or a request concerning your game data, send a private message to Nine Rush on Instagram. Include your generated player name and the competition link if relevant. Do not send passwords or payment information. We may need additional information to locate and verify ownership of an anonymous profile.
